Headlights on 2004 Mazda RX7 need a little help please

Did the Headlights on this 2004 Mazda RX7 and after I was done I still see a lot of Scratches and Other stuff looks like the guy who tried before me used a Machine that left like these bump marks I tried to get them out after I noticed that my 500 grit wasn't working I went down to 220 grit then 500 then 800 then the Trizac 3000,

Please check out these pics, I was thinking about redoing the light with the same process but I would like some opinions from you guys, is it possible I can sand too much plastic off?

These Marks looks like it was made with a machine and of course other remaining scratches

when I run my finger across them they are smooth because of my compound can really feel crevices or anything like that

I wouldn't redo if you have already hit em with 220 grit.I guess the sealant hasn't been applied yet ? It will mask some imperfections but you might have to live with what you have. Just my 2 cents.

yeah I will try cleaning them up tomorrow and applying the sealant hopefully it will make it look better

They last picture appears to be crazing, which is likely from heat. I did a Chrysler Crossfire last year that had real bad crazing right in front of the projectors since they were set fairly close to the lens plastic. Crazing goes pretty deep and not worth the time, effort, and amount of material removed. Leave it as-is IMO.

well the 220grit I did by hand the rest I used my Griot's 3 inch

Yeah I will let my customer know, its a shame though he has an awesome paint job on the car super sporty but when he turns on his lights you can see all that
