am looking for a headlight sealent that will last years after i have done all the wet sanding compouding and polishing am looking for the last step a uv protected

Almost none of the products out there will last like you wish they would - but if you wash wisely, you should be able to keep them protected, so as to prevent the corrective work again. That said, you may well need to recoat every year or two, depending on how you wash, and where the vehicle lives most of the time (outside subject to whatever sun/rain/snow all the time, compared to parking garage or home garage most of the time).
