I used to work in an air conditioned garage.

Now I'm working in a hot, stinky garage with no air conditioning. I've had some issues with compound turning to dust almost immediately. But my bottle of compound did sit overnight and early afternoon in an extremely hot car. Is this typical?

Sometimes I feel like I'm getting no cut at all?

Yeah, in hot weather you have to mist a lot of compounds before they dry out... I keep a spray bottle next to me for the purpose.
