Told you I was going to do more :awesome:

This time I wanted to try my mother's car for it's relatively new, 2002 toyota Camry. Light Blue and was in surprisingly good condition. Medium/regular swirls I'd say for this daily driven vehicle that's 4 years old.

Really wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I had not tried XMT #2 yet really so I went with this and a green edge pad. Knocked it right out and came out great. No micromarring at all which seems to always be evident when using XMT 3 and yellow pad.

I topped her off with DG's AW for now. I'm going to polish the rest of the car in the next couple weeks hopefully.

PICS!

Kinda crappy half and half. I had painter's tape marking it off but I was cautious not to get to into the painters tape. Thus still slight scratches along the dividing line.

A CRAPPY reflection shot. Was in my garage with no light except the one halogen light. But the important thing (to me) no swirls!

Yep, I'm addicted:D More to come I'm sure. Questions/comments appreciated!

Looks good man. So you did the XMT 3 with yellow pad and now XMT 2 with green pad. It doesnt look like you needed to go back over this car with the XMT 1, but what about the with XMT 3 and yellow pad?

No, I only used the green pad and #2 XMT. Topped with AW. That was all.

I was saying that when using this combo there was NO micromarring. Unlike when using #3 and yellow pad, there almost always is micromarring.

Sounds like you are having lots of fun with your new toy.

Great one.

Looks like the XMT2 took those swirls. Was it "easyer" to use than the XMT3?

XMT2 and the DG AW, looks like that made a pretty good result in my eyes.

Looking good! What do the parents think? Was Mom pleased?

Wish my parents would let me experiment on their vehicles. Dad is all  everytime I mention it  I don't get it, who doesn't want a free detail?

That is how it used to be with my parents. Now they let me, and I have even MORE cars to practice on now.

Good work on the camry, did you do the whole car or just a couple panels? Whole car shots if it is all done please!
