Hello everyone,

My name is Jeffrey Brennan. I started my own mobile detailing business in NJ last summer. Trying to get things going to get a shop one day.

I wanted to make a post to introduce myself into this community. I started detailing at a young age of 8 years old, now at 24 my journey begins to not only make myself more successful, but the detailing industry in itself more successful. I believe in what we do is an art, a lost art at that.

For me detailing started more as a hobby. It was something for me to do when i was at my dads car dealership when I was younger. I spent alot of time when i wasn't in school, at what ever dealership my father had at the time. (there was a few) I learned the skill and started to get pretty good at it. But soon enough life happened and the dealerships were no more.

After high school I started working at a Honda Dealership while i was going to college. Ended up getting fired from there over some mis communication, but that was okay $9.50 an hour on the books didnt pay for much but i was young.

After that i was offered a job landscaping, which I took because at the time $10 cash was great. Yeah that lasted a good 4 weeks when i just couldnt do the 12 hour days 6 days a week. From there i found myself working for a different landscaper. This guy just specialized in flowers and gardens. This job opened my eyes. I had learned a 4 year college degree in horticulture in just under 3 months. But besides that i learned what is was like to be passionate about something. And when your doing work that represents yourself the more passionate about it you are the better it is.

Now i still did details on the side while i was landscaping. Not many but every now and then some one i knew needed a detail and i just jumped on the opportunity. I always felt that detailing a car was cathartic. Some thing very relaxing about the process that its very enjoyable to me. I dont know why I guess I appreciate clean cars.

In the 2 years i worked for the flower guy, i met a girl. :) lol Not only did i meet a girl I met the girl I plan on marrying,, once i can afford to do so that is. But this girl had changed my life because she brough out the best in me. She gives me the motivation to want more. Turns out her aunt was friends with the owner of a very High End detail shop in Shrewsbury NJ. next thing i knew i was wokrking there. I put in 3 months there, perfected my detailing skills, but also saw a way to make money detailing cars.

I never thought in a million years a multi million dollar business washing cars was possible. But let me reasure you it is. So in the late summer of 2015 at 24 years old I created the name Brennan Motorsports. And that brings us here to me typing this. Im still putting together the bits and pieces together for the business but its getting there. I figured I would share alittle bit of my story.

Thanks For Reading :xyxthumbs:

Hi Jeffrey,

Welcome to AutogeekOnline! :welcome:

Great introduction post!

Also, take a look at your original post - I edited it and hit the [ENTER] key a few times here and there to break up that HUGE chunk of text.

People don't read huge chunks of text. The reason why is it's difficult for the human eyes to TRACK from the end of once sentence to the beginning of the next sentence if there's too my lines or sentences in a row.

So if you want people to read what you write it's a good idea to make it easy for them to read what you write. I see people in the forum world and the Facebook world type like this all the time...

Just a friendly tip...
