Hello Everyone! Looking for some help in a a vinyl head liner

Hey All!
Im working on an 89 VW Cabrio, trying to clean the head liner. Its started to yellow and has some spots i can seem to get out. I tried a lot of standard cleaners: Simple Green, Dish soap, Bleach, Laundry detergent. Nadda. Looking for any trick you may have up your sleeves .

Looks like it's past the point of no return.

When you see staining like that it's no longer "topical" that is on the surface thus it won't simply wipe off. The material is stained/dyed in it not on it.

Make sense?

A cheapie fix until you're ready to replace it would be to paint it with SEM vinyl paint.
