hello everyone my name is Marius and i work at F 40 motorsports in Portland CT ..

Ive been a detailer for about 16 years and a painter for about 6 and have done everything in between from cleaning cars to prepping them for paint ...

Mike Phillips came to my shop about a year ago to shine a light on my detailing skills and its been a blissful learning experience ever since ..if you guys ever get a chance to see him , do it ..it will change the way you work forever!!


hope to chat with you guys on the forum in the future ..ill be posting things im working on as much as i can so if you guys got Questions ill be happy to answer them ...

Mike is a great guy and very down to earth. I had the pleasure of meeting him and hanging out in the AutoGeek SEMA booth in '12.

Hi Marius and welcome to the AGO forum, you're in good company here....


Marius is an extremely talented painter and detailer and I think it goes without saying a lot of us including myself are jealous for his job as he gets to work on so many of the Wayne Carini car projects that you see on "Chasing Classic Cars"!


Last week I posted a LOT of picture which are like a virtual tour of Wayne's shop and the cars and car projects curring being worked on. Here's that thread,

And in that thread I have a couple pictures of Marius hard at work....


Here's Marius doing some finish sanding around the back window....

Here's Marius, he's doing some sanding and buffing on this old Jaguar. he LOVES the Flex PE14. When I met him he was using a DeWALT and now all he uses for rotary is the Flex PE14.

I also shared Wolfgang Uber Compound with him and loves Uber Compound too!

In this picture Marius is in the center back of the shop and in our upcoming segment on Chasing Classic Cars you'll see him working on the Corvette in the background.


Glad to have you as a part of our community especially since you'll be able to share pictures of the cool projects you get to work on. If you need help with getting the pictures onto the forum you have my number.

I remember Mike saying he was visiting a shop in Connecticut with Wayne Carini, and now we know who!!.....:props:
 
Welcome Marius. I got the talk to Wayne at the last two
detail fests.We did a dinner and an online auction here at autogeek as well the money that detail fest raised for Autism Speaks.Maybe you can come next year with Wayne as the people at autogeek are top notch as well as the forum members.You get to work on some of the coolest cars.(Yes I`ve seen every episode of Chasing Classic Cars.):buffing:
 
Thank you guys for the warm welcome ...and thank you Mike for the kind words ..im still working on getting some pics up ...I tried to last night but for some reason they didnt post ...maybe its my laptop ...ill be looking into it later today

Thanks dude ... I would love to come but unfortunately Wayne keeps me very busy and it would take a lot of convincing by autogeek and Mike to let him take me ...but nothing is impossible ...

So Mike had to leave and the Jag didnt get finished untill the next day so he never got any pics of the finished product so i took some and here they are.
