Hello, My name is Jim and I'm a newb to the Autogeek scene. Just stepped up to a pc7424 and some LC pads, getting prepped to protect my new 2011 4runner.

Found some good reading on here, and I'm sure you guys and gals will be around to help if I get in a rut.

The Porter Cable 7424xp is a nice dual action polisher. Combined with Lake Country's 5 1/2 flat pads makes this a killer combination.. :dblthumb2:
 
welcome to the forum! i agree with bobby on using 5.5 pads vs 6.5. he told me to make that change and the results were amazing as it allows the smaller pad to work harder and more efficiently. for smaller areas you can drop again to 4" and even on down to megs microfiber 3" which REALLY cut.
