Hi Team, Les is the name. Fantastic Forum you have here.
I own a small used car sales dealership in rural New Zealand. I started out running it alone and outworking all the vehicle grooming. 5 years later i now own the site and have one employee. We both do everything sales, finance, servicing, and vehicle reconditioning / grooming. I love the challenge and get quietly excited when i buy or trade a new colour i have not worked with. Alot of our cars are covered in tar spots. So i am always looking for a new product or method to sort that quickly. The most effective being a strong wax and grease remover sprayed on the panels, more on a rag and alot of rubbing. The local paint shop just hits the panels with a big pad on a rotary buffer. There is swirls and burnt on compound everywhere. Fast job for them but not good for clean up or front row glamor eye candy.
I have a Rupes Big foot LHR21, Big foot mini and Rupes Skorpio 150mm pneumatic. Although my job looks better i think i am keen to learn how to cut time down when possible.
Maybe i can share some photos of some of my sweet little dealership down here in Kiwi land.
