Hello from Delaware,

I just made a huge purchase here to build up my arsenal of cleaning products, both interior and exterior, as I'll be attending a few car shows this summer.

After acquiring a 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula I quickly became interested in keeping the paint up to snuff. Unfortunately, it's original paint, and is slightly fading due to the wonderfully poor GM paint, but the clear-coat is all there. But, there's still 21 years of scratches and uncaring cleaning that has to be reversed one way or another. I'll be pulling out all the products for this one. :buffing:

I do have some questions that don't exactly fall under detailing, but instead of repairing deep scratches (like from someone sitting on it with jeans for a photo, then sliding off). What's the best section to make such a query about trying to bring my paint back 100% without going through a complete new paint job? I was hoping there'd be someone who has gone through similar treatments.

Thanks, and I can't wait to receive my products and begin the madness! :)

Welcome aboard! I joined this week as well. I've spend SO much money in the past few weeks. It's only going to get worse!

WELCOME That's one thing about joining the site is that you will spend plenty of moola here. But in the long run it's worth it:buffing:
