Hi guys! Hopefully I am doing this right but, my name is Brant, and I live in Indiana, sadly I only is nice like less the 6 months out of the year but it works out. I have been lerking around here for the past year but never made an account and become part of it cuz I never was good at forums but I thought I would give it a shot. I own a black 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer and love cleaning and detailing it. For me it is relaxing, except when someone messes it up, but anyways we all know hoe that is. I have enjoyed cars for a while and know the basic concept of how they work, but recently I have started working for a performance shop so I am learning how to take apart and rebuild engines and build high performance engines, and trying to become better at detailing to offer that as well. Other than the fact I am a college student at Purdue studying mechanical engineering that's my life in a nut shell. Looking forward to being a part of the sight and learning a ton!!! Im the MAN

Welcome to the geek from a fellow CE student. Nice to hear your learning the trade side of automotives. Most of my ME buddy's don't know a thing about automotives. You won't make the mechanics lives miserable. If your not into forums don't worry ago is a friendly community and you will soon become addicted!

Ya I know some ME people who are like that too, but their loss. It is funny you say that about mechanics cuz I deal with them every so often and when I say I am doing ME, they don't really like the sound of it haha, but oh well. Trust me I am already an addict for sure!
