Just wanted to drop a line here. Found this site when doing a google search for "Jacksonville detailer". Found a couple leads and a detailer directory for me to check out.

Might just read some of the DIYs and tackle the job myself, but I am interested to learn how to use the tools/products the pros use.

Welcome state mate! While we all here certainly understand the desire to have someone else do the work, you may find it incredibally rewarding to do some or all of it yourself. Plus it's economical.

Hello back from Jacksonville. Similar situation.

We have lots of detailers in Jax. The forums can help you find the good ones to either do the whole thing or do the parts you just are not comfortable tackling yourself.

I was a lurker for a long time on the forum and have only joined recently. So far I have found that just about everyone enjoys sharing their knowledge as much as they simply enjoy detailing cars.

Welcome to the forum, I used to live in Fernandina Beach myself.

If you are interested in learning the tools and techniques that the pros use you should sign up for one of Mike's classes. I have never attended the detailing boot camp myself but I have been to a few Thursday night show car makeovers and I can tell you he is great at teaching everything from the basics to anything you are brave enough to tackle.

If you sign up for the class you get to use all of the best tools and products. So you can decide which ones will work the best for you.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome. Lots of informative stuff around here and might try and tackle a few things myself.
