Hi Everybody!
Just wanted to post a "newbie on board" note and say "Hi!" to all. I do wish I had found this forum a few years ago when I was seriously into car shows. I still do a few, but nothing like years past (this "getting old" thing is a PITA, lemme tell ya!) We have 3 Vettes, a '78 Pace Car with 162 miles on it, still wrapped in plastic, a 1993 ZR-1 in 40th Anniversary trim, and a '03 Z06 in Millennium Yellow. There's also a '64 Malibu 'vert that's been in my family since new and a '93 Harley Heritage Softail Classic. I'm also a Certified Flight Instructor (Instrument Instructor as well) and have half a nice '81 Piper Archer II (that's a Cherokee 180 with the new wing for those of ya that haven't kept up with all the strange names).
I'm retired from 3M and my bride is a retired school teacher. St. Johns, FL is between Jacksonville and St. Augustine, in St. Johns County which is on the St. Johns River (not that we can afford to live on the river!). I guess we're "St. Johns to the 3rd power."
I am looking forward to learning from the folks here... I've got some weaknesses in my detailing skills and I'm hoping some folks can help out.
