I finally decided to register and post, but I've been lurking here and a couple other sites about detailing for about 8 months now, soaking up as much info as possible.
I became interested in detailing just to take care of my wife and I's vehicles. She just got a new 2010 VW CC (picture I took of it is my avatar), I have a 09' Ford Flex & 04' Chevy S10. I figure if you're going to plunk $25k+ into something it should be taken care of. Now of course family and friends request my help and time with their cars after seeing how great mine look. Couple months ago I added a Meguiars G110v2 along with an assortment of LC pads and love it.
Of all the sites I've gone to for info, Autogeek imo is the most helpful. I love the how-to videos & articles. Add onto that, the community itself and the knowledgeable people that visit here really make it a great resource.
