been buying stuff from ag for awhile but love the forum. lots of info. i have a small detailing shop here in oregon. semi retired old fart who loves cars, detailing, and track days. have a 07 vw gti fahrenheit set up for track and my baby e-63 amg for hauling around the cascades. do volunteer work for the sheriffs office to keep my karma good when they see me flying. just bought an x deck scaffold/ladder. my knees are shot from years as a contractor so this looks promising. only so so on computers. sending photos is tough. mb is iridium silver and has so much pinnacle and e zyme on it nothing sticks.

Welcome to AG. Glad to have you here.:welcome:

Welcome to Autogeek Online! :welcome:

If you live in Sweethome then do these pictures remind you of anything?

Believe it or not, this is street legal in Oregon, I should know I've drove it around for years when I lived there.

After we built Eric's truck, part of our deal was he helped me to build my truck but I didn't want to go quite as extreme as Eric did.

This was my first 4x4, it's a 1971 Chevrolet 3/4 Ton 4x4 with a 402 Big Block Chevy, 2-Ton Korean War Era Transfercase, 4:11 gears, posi-track with Detroit Lockers, 44" Super Swampers and a Turbo 400 transmission. We cut the top off and had a custom half-cap convertible top made for it.

This was my first monster truck...

Here it is stuck at the Foster Mud Flat Races...

Me with my front axle buried in mud with 44" Swampers... think I broke a stubby here...

Eric to the rescue...

oh yeah i remember foster lake. first one i saw was 93 mind blowing now in this pc climate. they moved it to my neighbors property about 200 directly above my front door. she just sold the property last week and the festival is moving again to brownsville. 3000 4x4s is a site to behold especially when mudded out. think wolfgang or souverain would shine these beasts? had my left knee replaced 8 days ago and am on the way back to my love of detailing. love this forum and your company. just added fuzion and dp to my carnuba collection. thanks for the memories. dave

When I was a Navy Recruiter in Corvallis, a young Sailor who worked for me use to live in Sweethome. Can't remember his name though. I loved that town back then and probably wouldn't recognize it if I went through it. It had a couple of really neat bars that we use to hang out in.

Nice to see some other Oregon faces.

I have to say that this forum has more people on it that are from Oregon than other forums I've been on. Maybe one day we can all get our rides shined up and meet in some location that would be fair to everybody. Have a mini Oregon Shine rally.
