Hi, my name is Hector. I had a previous account before this but I'm not sure what happened to it. I just started into the auto detailing business about 2 months ago. I've helped Nick detail a car and I've been to a couple of detailing classes with Mike. I have done a couple of cars for money as well. Hope to learn a lot from everyone here on the forum and become more experienced in detailing.

Welcome back Hector! :welcome:

Hector helped me with a recent Opti-Coat makeover and is very eager to learn the art of detailing. He's a quick learner and should be turning daily drivers into show cars in no time. :props:

Here's a couple pictures of Hector polishing the trunk lid of a Toyota Camry using a Porter Cable 7424xp, Wolfgang Finishing Glaze and a Lake Country Hydro-Tech Tangerine pad.

Have a great weekend Hector! I'm sure I'll see you around the Show Car Garage again soon. :cruisin:

Welcome to the AutogeekOnline Discussion Forum Hector!

I love seeing young men get involved with the craft of car detailing, you learn a skill you can use forever, help others with and even make a living.

Plus... you even get to work on some pretty cool cars... here's Hector working on a very rare 1969 Camaro Pace car at one of our recent "Autogeek's Car of the Week" projects...

On the back rear fender, Hector is using the Cyclo to polish the paint to a clear, high gloss... this guy has only been to a couple of our Thursday night projects and he's already becoming very good at machine polishing paint.

Besides being a hard worker you are also a very polite young man and I'm sure your parent are very proud of you.

I hope you'll continue helping out into the future on these cool project cars we work on..

I'll definitely continue helping out. Looking forward to seeing what that mystery car is in December. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to that class and every other to come.
