Hello!

My name is James and I am a Body Shop Manager for a VW, Mazda, Audi, Porsche dealership up here in Maine. Learned how to buff and polish on a rotary buffer with wool pad at a young age (I am in my early thirties now). I am an experienced painter with training in high end restoration and custom fabrication. I love constantly learning new things and trying new methods while sharing the knowledge that I already have.

What paint guns and paints are you guys using?
 
Hi James, I am also from Southern Maine. I work as a software developer for a company in Falmouth/Yarmouth. I'm happy to see from Maine on the forums, Welcome!

Most of my technicians are using Sata 3000's and we spray Spies Hecker solvent based paint

I am sure you know that the dealership is right down the road form your work then. Also I believe i know a couple people that work for the same company as you.
