Hello, my name is Tony and I am from South Carolina.
Haven't been an actual detailer but I use to be in the used car game - before the "cash for clunkers" bottom out of the market.
I would by a "diamond in the rough" and put a new shine on it. Amazing what wet sanding and a rattle can paint job could do. Mostly sold cars at local auto auctions. Being a tow truck driver and "flipping" cars paid the bills very well. Then came "cash for clunkers" and since I mostly towed for auto auctions and independent "rock lot" dealers - there went my income.
Went to work as a delivery driver - hated having a real job. Got back into towing for auto clubs and made less than minimum wage so now I am trying to make it on my own again doing the "anything for a buck" program.
See lots of interesting info here - a bit over-whelming actually.
Any way I hope to be able to find some good info on starting a headlight resto odor elimination business here.
Thanks for reading this!
