I have been detailing my "new cars" since 1999, but in a moment of recklessness last week I bought a used 2008 Acura MDX in Black...she's got swirls, bird dropping etchings, and bad touch up paint jobs on almost every panel...I am out of my league when it comes to the hand application polishes that I usually use, so just trying to soak in all the info here.

I have been shopping at autogeek for over almost a decade now and I'm excited to be here on the forums!

If anyone wants to hang out and share detailing tips (or let me borrow their DA :xyxthumbs:) I live in the Chula Vista/Eastlake area...also let me know if you know of any good paint correction detailers that you can recommend.

Cheers everyone!

Everyone starts off as a beginner or novice but with a little understanding, a dual action polisher, a few pads and products you'll be surprised how easy is it to maintain your own vehicles exterior. In very little time you'll be a great paint correction detailer......
