Hi my name is Milton.

I am here trying to fulfill a goal of mine which is to offer 4 car services; Installing window tints, paint protection film, vinyl wraps, and auto detailing. I have never done neither of these, but i am a very passionate person. Short version of this story is that I want to offer these services part-time till I save enough money to open a one stop shop. Now i know people who know how to do none of this open up shop, but i want to be able to work my way from the ground up in the business and i want to be able to relate to my workers and know what I am talking about.

So with that being said i am here taking the first step to fulfill the auto detailing section, as i already began learning the previous 3 mentioned and i love it.... Something tells me that i will prob love this one the most and also most likely get me the most business... will allow me to offer the other services... thank all of you in advance...

Hello Milton, welcome to AGO from Brazil!

I also enjoyed your intro post, hope I can help on something if I can.

Kind Regards.

Welcome to the forum!

My suggestion is to go to training for all of them. Save up money ad attend Mikes Detailing Boot Camp. This training will help you in every way possible.

Next attend Xpels trainning in Texas where you will get hands on and learn the proper way to install and work with PPF.

Finally go to a tint school. I just recently took on and I learned so much that would have taken me about 6 months to learn.

Thanks! I am currently in Baltimore getting trained on PPF by 3M... Tinting, I ordered a tinting tutorial video which cost me about 300... but i think it will work because i actually also have a friend of mine who tints about 6 cars a day showing me...

as for the boot camp i am planning on going just have to find the time to go and do it and also scrap up some cash.. lol maybe ill save some of the money from tinting and PPF being that i do know enough to charge now... and plus i also have a full-time job...

thank you so much for your input..

Sounds like your on your way. I wish you the best of luck. If you wanted sometime when I am doing something I may be able to show you the basics. But don't get me wrong I am no expert.

Is it from Stan Foster and what 14 DVDs I think? If so then I would certainly do his training as well thats who is spent a week with and the man knows his stuff and breaks tinting down to such and easy form its great. The DVDs are a little old and he has a new one coming out very soon.

Do the Boot camp as soon as you can. Mike will over load you with info and a ton of hands on training that will start you off on the right track.
