Hello everyone! I just decided to become a member here after reading about AG on LS1Tech. A little about myself, I build high-performance cars for both a living, as well as a hobby, and I am addicted to all things automotive. I myself own a '98 Trans Am (D/D), an '02 T/A WS6 (Low miles, nice-weather car), a '69 Chevelle SS396 (#'s matching, full resto by yours truly), and just yesterday picked up an '03 Cobra as well. All of them are black, with the exception of the '02 WS6, which is Arctic White.
I'm not looking to start my own detailing business, as I only detail cars outside of my own for very close friends and family. I am rather looking to expand on the range of knowledge I already have, both in technique and in a wider range of products I now have access to thanks to AG. I first started detailing cars when I worked in a body shop at a dealership about 8 years ago. I did many things there- wetsanding fresh paint, general paint correction on many different paint styles/types/brands, as well as detailing cars for both customers and for the dealership lot. I am a bit of a perfectionist, as I see most of you are as well, I cannot stand and will never do things shoddy or half-way. I do have my own tried-and-true methods/products for detailing cars, but as with anything else when it comes to all things automotive, I love to experiment with different products/methods to see what works best in any given situation. I have already learned a lot of new things just browsing the past few days, and I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and seeing the automotive perfection we can create!
Thanks for reading! I'm sorry it was a bit long, I hope it all makes sense as well, and happy detailing! :buffing:
