Hey all. A newbe here. I have some family cars and trucks here that I'll be working on. The push for information came due to the new camaro just bought. It has 4k miles just got it for my daughter 2010. One side of it has brown/water stains where it sat in the shade for extended periods of time. I washed it and used turtle wax to remove most of the stains. That's when I decided to learn more about car care. There's a lot to learn. I have bought all sorts of stuff in the last two days from AG. Great site.
There seems to be some kind of stains on the windows. Only on side of the car that sat in the shade. It doesn't want to come off. I used glass cleaner and a straight razor there's nothing on the glass. It's just kinda stained. On a new car?.
Any suggestions ?
Wish me luck.
Sam

Samn you can try DP krystal vision glass cleaner it will help with the windows but if you want them smooth as glass you may have to clay them. The DP has worked great on my 2010 F150's glass but in the spring I'm going to have to clay them to remove the remaining stuff. As far as the water spots give a clay bar a shot and some Menzerna products. If you bought a DA then you should be ok. I hope this helps but there are pros on this site that know more than I do. Good luck.By the way welcome to AG.:welcome:

Welcome to AGO. I spent 3.5 years running around Hampton Roads from late '99-'03. Love the area, hate the traffic.

Thanks for the welcome.
On the cars windows, I used some Zaino # 16 window polish. I had to work it hard. 3applications. It's coming off. I ordered a small da buffer to help.
Scott-thanks for the advise. I have not used clay. Just mist with water and rub? Like a Mr. Clean magic eraser?
