What chemicals are you using to assist in the removal? I mean besides steam and water.
 
I bought some carpet extractor. What would you recommend.
 
I'm still in the learning process. I have a steamer and a power washer and both of those did very little.
 
Folex is some pretty awesome cleaner, they sell it at Lowes and Home Depot.
 
I would try Folex as well since it is available locally.

Make sure the carpet is dry first off. Then spray on the Folex liberally. Let is sit for a minute and proceed to scrub with a stiff brush. Then hit it with your steamer with a brush on the end of that. Then I would follow up by vacuuming the carpet or wiping it thoroughly with a microfiber towel. Repeat as necessary.
