Hello weeman here joined to get help/ advice on detailing.

I am from Newcastle Northern Ireland,

I drive a white automatic Nissan Note 1.6 Ntec E11 hoping to make it stand out.

I visited Dublin and the Cliffs of Moher last fall. Beautiful country over there. Boy is the grass green!!!

When working on white paint, the goal is to maximize gloss and gloss comes from a smooth surface.

So the first thing I would do is wash and dry the car and then INSPECT the paint for above surface bonded contaminants. If you feel a bumpy surface this is a sign you need to clay the paint. After claying then if you REALLY want to make the paint look clear and glossy then you want to machine polish the paint. Machine polishing ALWAYS creates more gloss than hand polishing.
