I use to think my neighborhood brushless car wash was the best until I bought a black audi. It didn't take more than one car wash to convince me and so here I am, lurked on this site for a week and purchased a kit to properly care for my baby. I probably would be asking a lot of questions rather than making contributions so please bear with the newbie from jersie :)

I feel the need for a stiff drink after reading the beginning post .... automated car wash, please say no ~
 
Thanks! I got a CPO 6MT Audi A4 in brilliant black and for the kit, the UDM intro kit which comes with LC pads and XMT pad conditioner and cleaner. I just found out how tough the clear coat as well and I really wanted to get a rotary but being a new to this thing, I'm hoping between the hard clear coat and the UDM, it will teach me a ton on polishing techniques hopefully without damaging the coat. Keep those fingers crossed for me.

Thanks! I dreaded the black coat before like plague, but everytime I see a clean, detailed one on the road I admit my jaw drops, ogling and envious at the same time :) Hopefully I learn a little bit about detailing and keep, maintain to consistently bring out it's best.
