Help!! Bird poop stain on carbon fiber roof of 2017 Mercedes GT-R

Bird poop left a ring on the carbon fiber roof(appears to be clear coated) of a new Mercedes GT-R any advice? The client is UBER picky, as I would be on my $200k new car, a new roof is $20k.
 
I would try the least aggressive method first and see if it goes away. If not, go with a little more aggressive method. Have you tried hand polishing the area with a light/med polish?

We are gathering info now before we start "practicing" which method works. If we mess up and it needs painted the very important client will deny the car and the dealership will need to order another. The shipping company will eventually eat the costs of either recon or replacement fees. The car was supposed to be shipped in a enclosed trailer.
 
Unfortunately if compounding does not work, you will have to wetsand. With carbon fiber, machine sanding with 2500 and then compound with a true cutting compound, then a good finishing polish is what you have to do. Removing the etch will be easy, however finishing it off will be the most difficult part. I suggest machine sanding because it will be more uniform and won't leave uneven sanding marks like if you did by hand, plus it'll be less aggressive than hand sanding.
