So my old PE8 (~10 years), needed a re-grease because it already started to bleed oils (grease separation).
When I had the parts already separated, I accidentally hit the piece with the gear and fell to the floor, hitting some teeth and some damage was done, see photos attached.
I looked in to the parts diagram:
And wow, the part damaged, cost almost half the price of this model brand new.
What would you guys recommend? I am weekend warrior, I do not heavily use it.
- would using the gear like this damage the other gear?
- is there a place where I can get second-hand parts for polishers? Maybe same models already broken.
- would it be worth sanding the bend parts?
