HELP needed removing product from clear bra!!!

I need some tips on removing wax/polish from the clear bra edging. I made a big mistake yesterday. I was really exhausted after working on the car for two days and i did not want to tape off. So I went about applying Poli-seal by hand on a MF applicator to the front clip of the car. I figured if I used a very small amount of product and pushed it into the applicator fully and swiped away from the edge I would avoid getting residue into the clear bra edges. But I failed miserably. Not I have yellow Poli-seal in some of the larger edges of my clear bra.

btw, did I mention I absolutely hate clear film !!! I should have just bought a bottle of DR.Colorchip. Being an Autogeek I should have known better that I wouldn't be pleased with anything except fully polished out paint. anyway, too late.

So before I go about tackling this situation i would really like some advice from fellow autogeeks on the most effective way of going about cleaning the edges without causing much harm or de-lamination of the film...

From what I understand this is one of those tips that is usually closely guarded for obvious reasons. But please do share whatever you can. thx in advance !

My solution to this is to get a old credit card, gift card, or some sort of firm card and wrap a thin microfiber around it. I found that spraying some Sprayway Glass Cleaner onto the towel and using the edge of the card, run it along the edges of the clear bra and it removes it!

{Spray along the edges, and to a clean MF towel...
Gently wipe any unwanted residues/dirts away from leading edge.
Repeat if necessary.}

X2 on the Xpel cleaner. Most protection films are made of polyurethane or similar, so most paint detailing products have no effects on it. Xpel cleaner also helps to stop yellowing.

I will use a small, tip of the finger-sized piece of clay and some detail spray or if it has been there a while some diluted APC (4:1 water to APC). Spray the DS/APC on the affected area letting it sit momentarily to soften. Then take the small piece of clay and run from the bra onto the paint. Then if needed along the edge of the bra. I throw the clay away when done if I use APC. Which is why I use such a small piece. Then spray the area with detail spray and wipe with a clean MF towel. Reapply wax. Done.

thx for the advice everyone. I will do a test spot trying each of the techniques and see whats most effective.

i'm thinking mabe a toothpick or a credit card like described above. but on some of the rounded edges (around the front grill), the film is kind of on a backward angle towards the engine bay, so its gonna be tough to get in there. My car is black so this really stands out.

The Xpel cleaner, where is this product available ? Do I have to order direct ?

FWIW, here's my solution (makes customers very happy...):

A small nylon detailing brush and QD spray. I trim the brush at an angle, so the leading edge has short, firm bristles, and the back edge has long, soft ones. A little agitation, and boom....residue is gone.
