Hello
I've been having some issues with my Rupes lhr15es that I can't seem to figure out.

The machine has had lots of use, not new but well taken care of and stored. It has the washer mod done to it as well.

The issue:
The polisher started to intermittently die on me while polishing, just for a second then it would start back up. I did that for a couple of days, then died completely.

What I've done:
-The first thing I did was check the brushes, despite having hundreds of hours on the original brushes they still have lots of life left in them.
-Next I replaced the cord end because it has taken a beating and was looking pretty rough. That didn't help.

So I'm not sure where to look next.
In older rotary models I've had the "trigger switch" has needed replacing but I haven't found any info online, nor have a found a replacement part.

As much as I like my other polishers I need to fix this machine asap!
Please help!

Thx

having same trouble with my LHR21, now it won't run at all.

Sorry you're both having issues with your polishers.

greatwhitenorth - sounds like you've checked the key components that I'd recommend first for the issue. The electronics module does have a 'boot up' period (for lack of a better term) when its first plugged in, and some people have seen false dead switch issues b/c they plug and pulled the trigger almost immediately. Just to eliminate that possibility try plugging it in, waiting a few seconds then give the trigger a pull.

If it continues to give you an issue get in touch with us, we'll get you in contact with one of our engineering guys to troubleshoot further and/or arrange for repair.

torchy - have you done the same things listed above: checked brushes, verified the cord wasn't crimped/pinched? Of course if its a defect we can discuss warranty repair as well. Let me know!
