Hello, I have a question about Paint sealants. I have washed, Pinnacle Ultra clayed, Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion, and Zymol Titamium Waxed (had this before I new about Autogeek, probably an $89.00 mistake, not sure). Should or could I have applied a Paint Sealant (like Pinnacle or Wolfgang) and then wax over the sealant?

Also, can I use Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint sealant 3.0 on plastic painted pieces like front and rear bumper assemblies? How do you prepare Painted plastic part for sealants or waxing, do they have clearcoats like the metal? Thank you for any advice!

Zymol Titanium is actually a really good wax. Don't fool yourself, very good value and is actually a more top tier wax.

Should you apply a paint sealant first? Well if you are willy to go the extra mile, of course. Layering any LSP will just increase the durability. Although because Titanium is a highly durable protection wax, layering that will yield an equal result.

Could you apply a paint sealant first? Yes of course! :xyxthumbs:

As long as the plastic is painted like the body, treat it like the body. They have the same (base coat clear coat) paint system as the rest of the body.

I personally never saw the need to layer. It just seems like a waste of time since 95% of us on here will be reapplying the wax before it wears off anyway.

When I'm putting an LSP on, I'll do 2 coats of the same product to ensure even coverage.
