Help!!

I have a 08 nissan altima coupe and wanted to know what products to use on this car to help me get rid of these swirls/scratches off my car
 
Those are pretty severe scratches....:eek:

What products do you have at your disposal?

Are you planing on doing this my hand or do you have a dual action polisher and a few foam pads?
 
My suggestion would be MF pads, a couple of white hybrid pads, and a couple of polishes from med/heavy to fine cut. You can adjust the cut on the MF pads using different polishes.
 
Are the scratches limited to a small area, or are they all over the car? How much money and time are you willing to invest?
 
Bring on the Meguiar's 105, orange Lake Country Flat Pad and a DA
Work small areas, they should come right out.

Ok this is what I have on hand

Griots random orbital
Griots polish 1-3
Meg's scratch x
Griots clay bar
Griots pads all of them

its all over my car...i was thinking of bringing it to a professional detailer but i would like to try to fix it myself very new to detailing btw

No worries. You have all the tools you need, so you only need to put in the time. Go over the flow chart here: Auto Detailing Facts, auto detailing Tips, How to detailing Guides, how to polish, how to wax, DIY detailing, do it yourself guides You will need to wash and decontaminate (clay and iron removal) first. To determine which polishes and pads you should use, do a test spot starting with the least aggressive pad and polish. If that gives you the desired results, you can polish the rest of the vehicle. Any products you reccomend for iron removal and decontaminate and what kind of pads you talking about because griots only have one type of polishing pads which is orange...is there any pads out there I should get??

Griots just dropped a new line of MF pads and the whole line is available in 5" now as well. The orange cutting pads are a fav of mine, and they have red and black pads for light polishing and finishing too!
 
im going to buy 3 more orange pads and 2 MF pads...so can you help me with the steps on what to do first? prewash? iron x? polish 1-3? and what pads to use first? to get these nasty swirls off or is there any other products i need?
 
should i start with the griots mf pads with griots polish 1 or 2 and if there still swirls should i use griots orange pad and use polish 1 or 2?
