Here's what a Dupray Steam Cleaner can do!

At our September Detailing Boot Camp Class we had an all original 1967 Lincoln Continental in our class for a full interior and exterior detail.

Here's how the original white leather interior looked BEFORE my class took the Dupray Hill Injection Steam Cleaner to it...

If you look closely at the area below the pull handle you can see a small area that I cleaned to show how much room there is for improvement...

Not pretty...

And the original single stage paint was resurrected using the Rupes paint polishing system.

The Dupray Steam Machines are really well built, well thought out and capable of amazing results.

See my two article here for more information...

The Dupray Tosca and the Dupray ONE Plus both would be great steamers too and the both offer the continuous refill feature.

Wow!! What a turn around. Sad so many people would assume that leather is no longer salvageable.

I have a matching "after" shot for each of the "before" shots.

I was completely impressed. My Jan class starts tomorrow and my class will be tackling the original leather interior in the 1963 Pontiac Bonneville.

I think it is safe to say everyone was blown away by the before and after difference especially the owner.

Wow that leather was nasty.

Nice save Mike.

All the credit goes to the class, they did the work, I just showed them how to use the tool.

I have a hard time justifying the money on a tool like this due to the small volume of work I do, but man do I want one. Could've really used something like that on the leather of the old Lincoln I'm working on right now

This was done with $249 Mytee Firebird, but could been done with a less expensive McCullough

If you are lower volume, you don't need all of the features of the higher priced machines

That is extremely impressive. I would have thought you re-dyed the steering wheel based on the before/after shots.

The Dupray Carmen looks like the ultimate tool as it offers steam with suction but the price is out of sight for most any detail business. You'd have to be doing a lot of volume to recoup the capital outlay.

I'd bet that Firebird or the Dupray one followed by a Mytee S-300 would be a great alternative for carpet and mat cleaning.

You meant to say that for car interior jobs steam products within 300$ price range (Mytee to McCullough & others) are sufficient as most of these products are capable of offering 4bar steam pressure? adding a good hot water extractor in combo will be a sufficient arsenal for a detailer if job volumes are low?

OR

one really need to have Dupray or Daimer kind of products with extraction option from day one?

Want to ask experts here about the recommended steam pressure required while doing an interior and an engine bay cleaning?
