I am looking to stock my car wash kit with some new pads, and I'm hoping that someone with experience using Chemical Guys Hex-Logic pads can assist. Which pads should I get for the following?

Cutting: Meguiars Ultimate Compound
Polishing: Meguiars Ultimate Polish
Waxing: Collinite 845

Any help is appreciated!

At the time CG was offering a kit with 3 diff pads + a bottle of pad cleaner--so I ordered 3 of those. It contained orange, white, and black (UC>UP>Colli)--and they've worked perfectly fine for me so far.

Orange = cutting
White/Green = polishing
Black/Blue = LSP

The Hex-Logic pads are just rebranded Buff and Shine pads so what I would get is Orange for Cutting Green for polishing and Black for finishing or wax application

get the b&s 5.5" flat pads, they are available here on AG now...

I use my share of the CG Hex pads and love them, they hold up very well for me.

Two colors I use most of the time.

Orange for compounding
White for polishing, I get great results using these two pads.

However, these days I'm mostly using Meguiar's Microfiber Cutting Pads and they're Correction Compound.
I still use the CG Hex pads on large panels , most of the time I use the 6.5 inch pads.

You'll love the CG pads.

I've been using the green with my heavy compounds for a while now. If something really difficult presents itself, I'll use the yellow, or a microfiber.
From there I like the blue for polishing, and red for wax or sealant

I use Meg's UC and UP most of the time and usually use:
Orange = UC
White=UP
Black=Meg's Ultimate Wax (when I was using it)
