Again being new (and I have watch a ton of videos so far), is Hex Logic the way to go for 5.5" DA pads.

Honestly I am looking for pads to just touch up a few swirls and one light scratch and a super finishing buff. I don't want to necessarily purchase a pad kit if it is not needed.

Also I did not see all videos where user performed a finishing buff with a wool cap?

Lastly does everyone use a pad conditioner or "wetter" to prep the pad before use?

Feed back please

thanks

I think you need about 5 times more pads than you "think" you need.

I believe technique and product choice are more important than the pad. However, most people like either Lake Country Flat pads or Hydrotechs. One nice thing about Hydrotech pads is they only come in 3 colors! Whatever line you choose make sure you stock up on the cutting and polishing pads.

I have LC flat, HT & CCS as well as Hex logics. Depending on which buffer you're using and product, each pad will perform a lil differently. Basically it all comes down to preference. I have also heard that the hex logic pads are really B&S pads made for CG.
