It's been awhile since I've given considerable thought to "detailing" the family vehicles. Mostly wash, wax and continue with life. I've decided to get reaquainted with my 99 Mustang, 98 Land Cruiser and 06 4Runner. The Cruiser needs some leather love, including some dying. I think I'll look into the Leatherique ssytem. Any thoughts?

Welcome to Autogeek! I've read many reviews recommending the Leatherique system. Put Leatherique in the search bar and I'm confident you'll find lots of information on it.

Edit: Also, I think it will depend on if your leather is coated or not as to what products you use. I'm sure others with more experience will chime in. Maybe post some pics up of the leathers condition is the forums Auto Detailing 101 or ask the expert featuring Mike.

Welcome

I have zero experience on leather, but I learned from another members experience and instructors.(Ford King Ranch) To always do a test spot, could save you time, money and a big headache. (Better be safe than sorry)

Always do test spots:
Paint, wheels, leather etc.

Welcome from Fuquay!

Hernandez, please get that garbage out of here! Go pack.

Thank you... We're practically neighbors. I live over off NC-50 near NC-42.

Didn't want to say anything to Hernandez since he offered up a welcome, but I agree... The only thing that looks good that color blue is the sky.

Go Pack!

I've got a lot of "research" to do. It looks like auto detailing supplies have come a long way since I stopped showing my 99 Mustang GT about 8 years ago before my son was born. Soon, I'll have to get busy getting all my vehicles taken care of. I've got a PC 7424 that I bought back in 99. I need a new backing plate and some pads to start with. I've been reading up on what is recommended for pads and plates. I believe I may pick up a 3M #5775 backing plate and some pads soon.

Thanks for the welcome gang. I may be hitting some of you up for some hints and tips. :xyxthumbs:

Another welcome from Fuquay!

Since you're a State fan, if you need any help with something let me know. Don't think I could be as generous to a tarhole fan haha

Sent from my SCH-I545 using AG Online
