Rico here, started detailing years ago after taking an all day class from Meguiar's, somewhere near Irvine CA. Great class, hands on, work. I guess the greatest lesson, was similar to the doctors oath (do no harm) or for us no scratching. COOL! Would have never though like that before, enjoy the discipline. But mostly that shine, & the guys & gals, taking that second look, at my shiny vehicle.

I liked Meguiars class outfit, but I wondered a bit, now I have a bundle of cash invested in CG Chemical Guys, most of there products are quite good, but at my level of expertise, can't tell who has the superior product..

Retired moved to Texas, from California, so much cheaper cost of living here, but driving 2 miles, & you need to re-clean.

Looking forward to sharing & learning here, so far used a few products MF's from this outfit are the BEST, Wolfgang MF soap the BEST.

Welcome to AGO Rico!! I live in Tustin/Irvine so again, hi from a former neighbor. As for your choice in products of Chemical Guys...nothing wrong with them, however, you mentioned in your post about which is the superior product.

If you ever have the chance to look into that you will be amazed what AGO has to offer.

I have a mix and match of Pinnacle, Blackfire and many other products from PBMG. They are IMO superior than Chemical Guys as I too used to have Chemical Guys products.

I could go on and on...Menzerna, Duragloss, Collinite and so forth. Try them out since you do have the time.
