Hey all, I am looking for a "high quality" Wax

I wanted to know what do you guys recommend.
( Staying on the 100-200$ per 200ml ).

I see that Fuzion is a big hit here, does it really give a great shine and protection? a really deep shine ?

Maybe Pinnacle Souveran is better? I see many reviews there.

Maybe Celeste Dettaglio V2 Paste Wax? by Chemical guys. ?

I already have Collinite, for a more "basic" applications.

- Note : what I am looking for in a "expensive wax" ?
Really deep shine, a shine that says "WOW", making the surface look amazing, shiny, smooth....

Looks like I am heading for Fuzion ?

What wax would you recommend ?
( Please Talk about waxes that have higher cost, Don't talk about cheaper waxes like Collinite, I have them, I am looking for a different type of wax, Thank you all! )

If it's for your white BRZ I would go with Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant topped with Fuzion. Amazing depth and gloss on white.

Great, Just what I did =)

But If I need this wax for customers cars? I saw that fuzion goes well with Dark too no ?

- Let me add that I am looking for a good wax for customers cars.

Thanks for the help!

Fuzion is excellent. It's extremely glossy and simple to use. Durability is about average - 2-3 months. Souveran is a pure show car wax, durability, protection, and beading are average to below average - but looks are top notch.

If your looking for something that looks great, beads and protects great, and lasts quite a while I would look into Zymol Glasur. It's not as easy to apply as the other two, but its not super hard. Also if your doing this as a business, the name "Zymol" is good.

Another excellent product is NaviWax Untimate. This wax offers no compromise I can find. Simple to apply (easy as Fuzion), looks great, and lasts up to 6 months. Of course, you have to order this from overseas - but IMHO its worth it. As I mentioned before, I just ordered a full size tin for $100 delivered. This wax is quite amazing, they really need a USA distributor. It's very glossy and glassy looking.

Quite frankly, I couldn't see spending a ton of cash on a CG LSP. I think their best performers are 50/50 and Pete's 53. After the hype of Lava (and the price) its just so-so IMHO. If they think its "that amazing" I feel their standards are low.

Auto Finesse is another line I would look at. I have no experience with their stuff, but they seem to get excellent reviews.

Of course, if for a few less $$$ P21S 100% and Vic's Red are excellent as well. Both should give you a solid 2 months if applied alone.

AG sells Migliore Waxes, some at a premium price. I have Primo, but have yet to use it. Their stuff has a reputation to be more difficult to use than others, and reviews are just OK. Many times I see Primo for trade - which leads me to believe its underwhelming for $100.

I have no experience with Swissvax. But it's very well liked. Be prepared to lay out some cash and charge accordingly. If I was using SV, I would invest in their Cleaner Fluid, which is costly as well.

Of course, any of these products can be applied over a sealant to increase longevity. Probably Fuzion is your best bet., as of you get a refill for your money - so its really only costing you about $95 a tub.

Fuzion after the prep.......Expensive but you get 1 free refill....

You could show your support for the State of Ohio's economy by purchasing this product:

That's famous for their other expensive-waxes such as these:

Thanks in advance for your consideration!

Bob that funny because that the only single brand that I do have in my country XD, Polish angel.
They get the products out from Germany, Hand made.
Too bad that 150ml Container costs At least 450$
there were cheaper in 2012, before they had all those fancy boxes ( there are amazing, just making the price x2 higher ).

Forget those "Specialty-Boxed-Waxes" then.

Todd Cooperider's Esoteric is only ~ $125.00 USD (+ Israeli Tax ?)<<< :wow:
Doesn't that fall within your expensive-wax range?

Well, first thank you for your help,
That's a liquid wax, does it make the shine and silky smooth surface like a good paste wax, ( example - Fuzion ).???

The only difference between paste/liquid/cream-waxes is their "form"...
The Chemists/formulators are usually bound by what the manufactures feel will be
the best "form", in terms of marketing a product to a specific/general demographic.

The "form" doesn't effect the product's performance.

The new Blackfire Black Ice has peaked my interest. But that is quite a commitment for a product that is still so new.

I would stay away from PMBG stuff. I feel they are overhyped and over priced at that. Much better stuff outside of AG at better prices. Souveran should cost $40 and Fuzion should be $60.. Griots Premium Wax is better!

In the 100-200 range, by far the best bet is SV Shield.

It is a modified version of the $1500 Crystal Rock, so it sheets and beads tight, but last 6-12 months (personally 7 months before I stripped it). For your BRZ get Glacier. Its a wax made for white cars.

Now if you want to be a little cheaper buy a Zymol wax. I layered Carbon 4 times on my car and at $50 it looks and sheets like something $500.

Migilore stuff is ok, I didn't care too much for it. Little difficult to work with.

Thats my honest opinion

A site that you recommend to see those products ?

Thanks for the help!

Auto Obessed website sells them directly. Just google Auto Obessed and go to their link

Forum rules state I cant post links to them.

Coke or Pepsi? Too much personal preference involved. I totally understand the price comments but I don't think there is anything better than Fuzion in the price range.

Dear Sasson & Friends

I'm not an experienced detailer, but I still have some points you might consider:

  • Shine doesn't come from wax. Wax is just a protectant. Shine comes from a smooth surface, which comes from claying and polishing
  • I used a combination of clay, Ultima Paint Prep Plus, Ultima Paint Guard Plus, and Liquid Souveran to create a shine that was "vicious" and wet on our white 2012 Odyssey.
  • Your customers couldn't possibly care less about the name of the wax you use. They want shiny. Give them that with profit in mind.
  • Network with others to try waxes and polishes before you invest in them.
  • Find Junkman2000 on YouTube. He's very knowledgeable and just as entertaining. He has tons of videos.
  • Find opie7afe on YouTube. He used to be forum regular and knows a ton about detailing, especially with regard to bang for the buck.
  • CEE_DOG is a great person to know and one you can trust. Find him here.
  • Visit Live2Detail.com.
  • PBMG products are excellent, they offer an outstanding community, and the only thing I can "ding" them with is high-priced regular shipping.

Forgot to say, Amazing photos,
I am not quite sure how shiny, and glossy is Swissvax shield, it costs 200$ for 200ml container.
That's exactly 1ml for 1$ ( meaning every coat costs about 10$ ) that's not "CRAZY expensive" but it's ok.
I know it protects for 6 months, But yet there are waxes that swissvax have that costs over 1300$, they are their "Show car" waxes.
While Fuzion is wolfgang show car wax,
and pinnacle souveran is pinnacle's show car wax.
I Prefer a Show car wax, that gives shine and deep gloss then a wax that gives protection for twice the amount of time.

what do you think? would it give that much shine & gloss or just protection ?

Thank you for your information =)
I use clay, and Polish angel polish ( after compound )
But I do think that different waxes give different kinds of shine?
people won't just pay 13,000$ For "the best" wax while there is turtle wax for 10$.

- And yes, I agree with you!
