Ho often to apply polish for daily drivers

depends on what you mean with polish? if it's just with a final polish to to reduce marring and roadfilm, you can do it every year, but not to aggressive, clearcote ian't growing back

Unless you're driving the car through the tunnel washes all the time, I can't see why you would do it more than once a year.

Right now, I polish in the spring to correct any damage done over the winter and then just wax (maybe glaze) in the fall. I only do a major detail twice a year.

So do you use a glaze every wash in the fall then Ive been kind of curious about black hole.

Not every wash...only once for the season. The glaze goes under the sealant or wax.

This year, I got a black car just as the fall weather started to get cold. Instead of correcting the dealer swirls, I hit the car with a coat of Black Hole to fill in and hide the swirls, and then layed my winter protection over the top of it. The results were really good; enough so that I'll probably use it as my fall/winter prep routine going forward.

Polish in AG world means and something with cut

Polish in normal world means wax.

Are you talking about a polish ie wax? Or polish as in cut swirls?

Good point!

Polish, a little touch up 1 or 2 times a year assuming you have good washing technique.

Wax/Sealant, 2 or 3 times a year depending on a wide range of conditions :)

I would say once a year.

That's taking into count maintaining between waxing with a Quick Detailer and Spray wax.

Maybe he did mean polish.

I think you would be better off deciding on when to polish out your car based on the condition of the paint over just doing things based on some arbitrary detailing schedule.
AIO- A all in one type product to me is something that has cleaners and abrasives in it. I might use the type of product 2to3 times a year on average.
Finishing Polish- for example M205 I will use the type of product as often as needed to correct isolated defects. I will polish out my truck on average every year to year and half. But where I live I don't have to deal with winter conditions.
Compound- for example M105 This type of product should only be used once or twice for the life paint.
