I purchased this product to give it a try, the "reflects light, and no glitter" claims had me curious.

Upon application I didn't notice much difference from the original Hot Shine. It was very wet looking, and shiny. Some do not like this look, but I think it has a nice shine to it.

When I moved around the car I noticed light reflecting off the tire as advertised.

The product seemed to fade after about 3 days. I have a nice black nature look to my tires now, I don't have any follow up pictures, but can post later.

Overall, this was the first tire dressing product that actually reflects light to the point of seeing the visible light spectrum. I'm not sure if this will be a permanent product I use, durability seemed lower than other products, and at $9.00 a can vs 2/10 original Hot Shine at a certain retail store I can't see the justification. I will stick to black fire gel and other spray dressings when in a hurry or want extra over the top wet look

Give the Meguiars Endurance Gel a shot...I've had some good results with it

Interesting. I am guessing this stuff slung like crazy? I like aerosol tire shine products for coverage and ease of use, but have not found one yet that does not sling. LOVE BF AIO tire & trim protectant. Leaves a perfect matt looking dressed tire, and has NEVER SLUNG. The only product i have found PERFECT for tires.

I had the car sitting about 3 hours before I drove it, the dressing was fairly dry, so I did not get too much sling. I would expect way more sling if I drove within an hour of application.

I did have some great results with that product. I have a dressing obsession, I can never just pick one and stick with it. I have about 10 different kinds in my arsenal currently.

Never used the aerosol version. Hot Shine isn't my favorite. I've found it browns tires over time. I have a larger size pump spray in my cabinet still but I only use it to dress the wheel wells. For tires I like Endurance gel. So long as it dries fully there's no sling. I keep it out of the tread on the edge my tires where it will tend to hide and not fully dry thus sling.

When using aerosol which I prefer griots spray it's thicker not as runny.Blow out excess dressing with vac or compressed air and make sure to back up car to get the area where the tire meets the pavement zero sling.Endurance is good but to time consuming with different sidewall markings.

Someone just posted up a video review on it. He refers to it as glitter but there is no glitter in the product based on the info found on the Meguiar's forum.

Kinda sad, in a way, to see the "glitter issue" settled.

Probably means less sales to be generated for
Hot Shine from the "thinking outside the box"
marketing ploy, that was geared towards:
"the Ladies that dances with poles".

Looks like both parties marketing strategies
will have to be tweaked somewhat now.
