Sister bought a new car. She (well, really, brother in law) took very good mechanical care of the last one, but neglected the cosmetics. I want to get her a basic "kit" as a gift. (don't worry, she won't be insulted by the implications). No way, shape or how are sister or brother in law ever going to be detail hobbyists or anything like that, so minimal labor inputs with maximum appearance outputs are critical.
Please review my tentative list and offer substitutions. Bear in mind, I'm not willing to go very much above this in dollar armount:
Optimum no-rinse wash. (They live in a dry climate--not many times they would have to do a full wash).
Optimum spray wax. (Or should I go with Duragloss aquawax?).
Nanoskin sponge. (I wouldn't anticipate they would need to claybar their car more than once per year in their area).
303 vinyl protectant (They have plastic upholstery on the new car).
I figure they can get the microfiber towels they need at Costco. That is, I've already made a decision against including high-dollar microfiber towels in the mix, so leave that out of your suggestions, please.
Otherwise, I welcome last-minute suggestions. Thanks in advance for your help.
