How big of a vehicle to empty a bottle of OC2.0 (Pic's)

This past weekend I had a 30hr correction/protection on a 2008' Chevy Silverado Extended Cab:

I washed and IX the truck prior to any correction work.The purple did not photo well on the dark blue paint but there was some iron contanimation on the paint:

cleaned the wheels and tires also prior to paint correction:

Pulled the truck into my shop after drying and here is the wonderful suprise I was working with:

My weapon of choice was to use my new Cyclo (Thanks Old Tiger...Jim) and green Cyclo pads with OPT's HC:

after several section passes I wasn't seing the efficient correction I was looking for,so I busted out my OPT MF correcting pads and used them with the OPT HC:

The majic was starting to work,you can see the top light (uncorrected) differ from the bottom light (starting to correct):

I taped off the hand painted pin stripping and started on my way:

plenty of swirls,scratches,and RIDS everywhere.For some of the horizontal panels,I used my 3401VRG and GG3":

Started on the tonneau cover,the fiber glass was in very bad shape and the coating was a gel coat:

So the BIG question is,how big of a vehicle will it take to empty a syringe of OC2.0?

When you are giving a "quote" do you just make the customer pay +60 on top of the labor for corrections, or do you just give a final price and just calculate it from there. For example, you charge $500 for that job, but then $60 for the opti so in the end you pocket $440.

And I think that you would need slightly less than half a syringe for that size of vehicle.

What are you applying it with? Some methods of application hold more unused product when you are done than actually was used on the paint. Like a sponge with a MF wrapped around it.
Put the sponge inside a plastic baggie and then wrap the MF around that. No wasted product absorbed by the sponge.

The price we agreed upon was determined before hand and included the cost of the coating.Job paid well. ;)

I've used dozen(s) of OC,OC2.0,OG syringe's and what I found works best for me is the CarPro blue/black block wrapped with the CarPro suede 4"x4" MF's.The back cover is some serious (as well as the truck itself) square footage.
The truck was coated (2-layers in some spots),wheels were coated,and all the glass was coated,when all was said and done...I had under 5cc of the syringe left.

Yes,it almost seemed as the paint has a darker hue to it.

Beautiful job Chris, I wouldn't expect anything less coming from you. How did the Cyclo compare to using a traditional DA? Right now I have a Griot's 6" but looking at the Rupes Bigfoot, would you recommend the Cyclo? Did you cut and finish with it? Regarding the application of OG like Chris did, I had to try it out and I prefer that method now. I have the puck applicator but haven't used it yet, just the traditional yellow foam. I may have to look into the CarPro apps now. Thanks!
 
Nice job Chris. The truck looks amazing. If that used up almost a hole syringe I wonder how much my truck would use since its a crew cab.
 
I used about 7 mls on my wife's CX-9 which is an SUV with alot of paint to cover. Not as big as that Chevy though.

But wouldn't there still be plenty of product wasted because it was absorbed by microfiber towel?
