How do you protect your front end from Road Rash/Chips?

I've got a new Subaru that already has a couple of rock chips on the front. I have only 600 miles on the car. Any tips or tricks to preventing this outside of installing a bulldozer blade on the front?

Clear bra.

Although, the clear bra gets beat up after a while, but at least its not the paint. The worse thing about CB material is it looks ratty around the edges after a few years. It's almost impossible to keep wax out of the edges IME.

Clear bra or a clear plasti dip sprayed over the front will help a lot.
