So I'm just curious to how you guys wash your towels that you have dedicated to cleaning glass with. I use reg micro fiber towels and usually wash them in warm water, rinse an additional time then I will air dry them over night. How do you do it? Is there a more efficient process to washing them? The reason I ask is because yesterday I opened a brand new bag of micro fibers and man the new ones just soak up so much more than the older ones do.

Also I have never bought a micro fiber rejuvenation product but always have wondered about them. Again I just wash mine in warm water and then air dry them. I usually use oxi clean for my wax/ polishing clothes and cheaper stuff on all purpose towels. I also air dry these. I one heard someone bring up using vinegar while washing micro fibers. Anyone ever heard of this?

No help on the washing but I have switched to using surgical towels for windows only. They wash up great with regular detergent. Saves me a lot of time washing towels...a chore I can't stand.

I have a source out in Denver that sends me dozens at a time. Shoot me a pm and I will send you a couple to see if you like them. I have tried the dedicated MF window towels but wasn't overly impressed over time.

When they start not soaking up as much I'll run them through a wash by themselves (or with like towels, guzzlers, glass). That usually corrects the problem.
I use MicroRestore, and the washing machine for MF's.

I'll schmooze up some scrub techs at the new hospital where I work and see if I can get a free box for distribution.

How Sweet it is!!! :dblthumb2:

Get 2, Get 2!!

I can't promise anything, but I will see. I'm one of those people that learned long ago to get to know everyone in the hospital from the food servers, to the house keepers, to the scrub techs because you never know when you will need them. A Hi and a smile go along way. Southern charm goes a long way.

I also have a few boxes coming in from my "source" so between Jenn and I we can get a few samples out to whomever wants some.

i got huck surgical towels and glass waffle weave towls-always wash glass towels seperate from anything else-especially seperate from polishin mf

Anyone heard of vinegar while washing towels?

I always add vinegar. It keeps the MF soft but does not destroy absorption like fabric softener. I use the MF Micro-Restore with a little laundry detergent. I dry on very low heat. They come out clean and soft and ready to use.

I'm always looking for quality MF's and would like to know how good these glass towels perform.
If someone would be willing to send me a sample or PM a link, that would be appreciated.

Thank You

I have a load to do tonight so I will try this..So this works for all micro fibers?
