How does the Cobra Guzzler Hybrid compare to the TRC Gauntlet drying towel?

I'm looking at trying a new drying towel and I was wondering if anyone prefers the Cobra Guzzler Hybrid over the TRC Gauntlet. I like that the Guzzler Hybrid is an edgeless design.

Ha--I dismissed the Cobra towels forever ago as being overpriced versions of towels I could better get at places that specialized in microfiber. Ironically those MF stores have expanded their offerings beyond towels, to compete with Autogeek.

This is where PBMG is missing the boat with this forum--here AG is selling a similar towel to The Gauntlet (they are definitely different in their construction), at a much better price point. The Guzzler Hybrid is higher GSM, and if you buy at Amazon they have compelling quantity discounts with $5 flat rate shipping: https://www.amazon.com/Cobra-Guzzle...8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGY&th=1

But I don't know that anyone here even knew this towel existed until Bri26 brought it to our attention.

What is PBMG?
Certainly got your share of acronyms in with that post!

Palm Beach Motoring Group, the entity that owns Autogeek and Autopia, and the Guzzler, Wolfgang, Blackfire, Detailer's, Pinnacle (I'm sure I missed a few) brands.

Used them both. Both good drying towels. Really a toss-up.

Agree. What also turned me away was that the percentage/blend was either no longer being listed on the web site or was a lesser blend (for what I wanted). I also got tired/annoyed of having to call to find out if anyone knew what the blend was.
