Hi, im a new member, but have lurking around this board for awhile now. I own an '02 Zinc Yellow Mustang thats not garaged. The car has always been washed but the swirls are starting to show. This is what i have planned so far:

Megs Gold Class wash
Megs clay w/ Megs Final Inspection
wash
Megs #3
Wolfgang 3.0 sealant - hand
P21S - hand

I already have these products, just need to put them all to use. The paint on the vehicle has a very light swirl to it. Never been resprayed. Anything you guys could reccomend? Thanks!

*edit* I will be using a rotary for the polish/swirl remover.

Megs #3 is more of a paint cleaner, it will not remove swirls. If planning on doing this over the weekend see if you can find Megs DACP #83 locally. Otherwise your process is sound leaving time for sealant to cure prior to adding the wax.

Megs #3 will remove swirls in the right hands. I still like to use that polish from time to time.

there description seems to suggest otherwise ...I dont use it so will refer back to your expertise but seems alot like their paintwork cleaner and not truly designed as a paint polish and swirl remover. Even the bottle offers its cut is so very fine at best. It does seem to offer some filling also based upon several descriptions similar to a glaze.

Good to know. The swirls arent that noticeable unless you really look for them, thats why i went with that less abrasive bottle. Thanks for the help.

Next question before I go ahead and get stuck in the middle of my project. I intend on using the suggested #83 with a white Lake pad. Would the Meg's #3 with a red Lake pad complete my job before sealant? Ive already purchased the #3, just trying to use it i guess. :)

Actually I think that might work. DACP finishes down ok, might wanna go with a grey pad and #3 for a little bite from polish and pad.
