How long before washing after waxing

i was wondering if i was washing off the stuff i just put on when i detail ,sometimes after a full 2 step polishing there is dust everywhere from the polish
i gave up trying to stop it just let it fly and wash the car after. and after i wipe the paint down. i put the wax ,was using nxt2.0 with a da , light coat let it sit for about 35 minutes wipe off then i take it outside and give it a quick hose down of the window seals and trim then once over with the wash mitt and dry. do i need to wait longer to wash it?
also use megiars M26 hitech yellow wax

You can wash it after your 2 step/before your lsp. Thats what I did for my car. 2 step, wash, ipa wipe, 22ple application. I woulda waited at least 6-8 hours before washing the car after your sealant/wax application.

i just liked to do it to get all the dry wax left on the car and dust off the car n trim and a final dry and detail spray before they pick it up guess but ok thats what i was guessing
