My dad's 2012 Avalanche has the obvious fading on the black plastic trim on the back half of the truck and I remember seeing the pictures of Solution Finish being used on a older avalanche at one of the ACR camps and I was just wondering how long that lasts? And how to care for it afterwards, including reapplying?
And how does it compare to other products like back to black and black WOW?

My experience is that it outlasts Black Wow, I haven't used Back to Black. It lasts several months and gives a nice even black finish.

Awesome. About how much do you think I would need to do the Avalanche? It's not like the old ones with the cladding on the bottom too, just around the top of the bed, and the bed covers.

You will just need a small 1 oz bottle... a little bit goes a very long way.

Sonax Polymer Net Shield can be used on trim. I've used it with excellent long lasting results.

I have the large bottle and have done my wiper tray twice and I have ever done all the plastic on the exterior of my girlfriend's Mini Countryman. And I have a lot of it left.

I usually use a quarter of a yellow wax applicator, and when I'm done with it put it in a nitrile glove and tie a knot in the wrist of the glove. That way it is ready for next time.

One easy way to have Solution Finish (SF)
last longer than what it's advertised:

•After the application of SF has thoroughly dried...
-Add a layer of Ultima TTG+ on top of it.

I have an Avalanche and bought the 1oz last month and loved the result, so i ordered the 12 oz that way i always have some. It is way expensive but worth it!!
