How long is DP pad cleaner good for in a pad washer?

Sorry for the long title. With all the deals last year I ended up with a Meg's pad washer& am planning a few details soon. How long would the DP pad cleaner/water solution be viable? Days? Weeks?

Any & all advice is greatly appreciated!
 
I think I heard 1 week at the longest.
Have you ever left soapy water in a wash bucket longer than a week? It gets nasty.
 
In this (cold) weather I don't have problems with it lasting 2~ 3 weeks. One thing I do is take a small cup and skim the top every time I've used it.
Now that's just sitting in a sealed bucket, not a pad washer.

Sure some of the goo settles to the bottom but the pads float on the top so I just keep the top clean. :dunno:
 
Thanks for the input guys. If I could get 2-3 weeks out of it that would be awesome, but if it's going to start smelling the place up, I'll dump it.
 
Mine smells like the day I mixed it and it's been out there well over a week. :dunno:
 
Spray the pads and wash in a clean bucket of water.
