After you PC your car, how many coats of paint sealant should you use?

If I put a wax on top I usually put on only one coat of sealant. With no wax on top I put on 2 coats.

What kind of sealant are you referring too? It makes a difference.

I only have the Wolfgang sealant...

2 coats of sealant, and 2 coats of wax is what I would do

2 coats with sealant with 12 hours in between the coats. Do you guys use your cars when its drying or leave it in the garage?

If I would seal it, I'd say two coats and the second being for coverage. Then put some wax on it and take some pics!

You can apply WGDGPS over 360 right away can't you?

If I'm topping with a 'nauba then I'll usually just go one coat of sealant and 2 coats of wax. If i'm using the sealant as a LSP, then I'll go two coats definitely.

I sometimes wish I had another car to use while I wait for my first coat to seal. I've never done more than one coat of anything. I think I'll try, but without the wait.

After the sealant do you have to wait 12 hours for it to cure before you put wax over it or can the wax go right on after the sealant and then let the combo cure for 12 hours?

Sealant should cure 12h+ before you put another coat of sealer or wax on it

Thanks clears up all my questions at least all my questions about applying wax to sealants.:)

You can put a coat on after you have washed your car next time, no problem washing the the car between coats (just dont wash before 12h+)
