How many gallons of water do you usually use in your bucket when washing a car, suv, truck, etc?

About 1.5-2 gallons of water in a 5 gallon bucket. The rest is just suds.

Wow...2 gallons for some reason isn't enough for me =|

I use two 5 gallon buckets. Each about with about 4 gallons in them.

I use about 2.5 gallons myself. And I have to be somewhat conservative with the suds or I run out before I'm done. I've found that since I started using the two bucket method I go through a lot more water because the mitt isn't going back into the wash bucket, so whatever water is left in it ends up in the rinse bucket.

When doing the traditional wash then about 1.5 gallons in the wash bucket. When using rinseless wash, it's about 2-3 gallon in the wash bucket.

The water bucket I jus fill up and add a grit guard. 2 bucket method unless the car is already really clean, then I add a grit guard to the wash bucket.

I actually use less water since I've been using the Shmitt. I used to use 2 gallons of wash water and now I find I can do my entire SUV with one. :)

I use about 4 gallons in my wash bucket and rinse bucket

two bucket method. soap 2 gallons last for the whole wash. rince bucket after cleaning the wash mit twice the 2.5 gallons of water is replaced with 2.5 more

about 3 gallons of water in each 5 gallon bucket w/gritguard!
